In 2019 LabCorp undertook a project just outside Newcastle in the Amajuba district of Northern KwaZulu Natal, in South Africa, this operation required the processing of on average between 5000 to 15 000 tons of Anthracite coal monthly. It also required LabCorp to blend product to produce a low ash finished product.
